Solidarity Message
March 8th International Women Day
No Discrimination and Violence Against Women's

Dear Comrades,

As you all are very well aware that  March 8th is an important day for the working women's for the  protection of the Basic Rights of women around the Globe. It is a day with a history of internationalism, unity, solidarity and struggle.

This day remember us the struggle of women workers  for the betterment of working condition. A German leader Clara Zetkin raised the idea of organizing an International Working Women's Day to mark the important victories of women workers in the United States and to provide a focus for women around the world to organize public actions to win the right to vote. As you are aware about the Current political, social and economic situation of Pakistan That  is extremely alarming for every one. Day by day obstruction and grievance of workers particularly women workers are increasing. Huge unemployment, sexual harassment, worst working conditions in public and private Institutions .Due to high inflation it is very hard to survive for majority of the Workers. and grass root people especially women to committed suicides.

Pakistan Transport Workers Federation (PTWF) to raise voice to end all kinds of discrimination, economic exploitation and violence against women, and for the achievements of their unity & getting equality and justice.

On the behalf of the Executive Board  Pakistan Transport Workers  Federation  we extend our  solidarity with all are Women's and assure them our full support for the elimination of all kind of violence.

(Mrs Atia Saleem)
President
Pakistan Transport Workers Federation (PTWF)
